Hi everyone!
Welcome to my GFX spot!
First, a little bit about me...
I'm 25 years old and I have a degree in Arts Therapy. Wile I got some photography classes during this study it consisted mostly of drawing, painting and sculpting classes. So, I decided I needed some photography practice.
Now I'm in the habit of taking my trusty camera (Konica-Minolta Dimage Z5) everywhere I go.
Of course the options with this camera are limited. I’d love to have a camera with changeable lenses, but unfortunately I lack the money to buy one. So I try to use this trusty little camera of mine to it’s full extend.
Trough my work I try to show how I see the world. This sounds really big, but it’s actually not. When something pretty or interesting or strange catches my eye I try to capture it. Sometimes these are the simplest things, like the flowers I shot.
I believe everyone got his or her own unique view of the world. The way you see things are not always what they are in reality. This is the reason I nearly always do some digital work on the picture afterward. Just to enhance what I saw.
Also I’m not a big fan of the pinned down proportions of photos. You can choose the size of your canvas when you paint, so why not when you photograph?
Got nothing more to say. I hope you will like my little space here as much as I liked making the pictures. Enjoy!
Anne
