what a lovely smile :) the cropping could be better, I wouldn't have cropped her chin.
A little increase on the highlights would also help a little imho.

the focus is great as her expression. good choice of BW.
add a frame ;) it deserves one.

+8,5 :)

Nice image – lovely deep blacks and the catchlight on the camera works really well.
Could benefit from a little more contrast around the face – the eyes and teeth could do with being whiter and I’d maybe suggest cropping in from the right taking out the earring (which is a bit distracting) and tightening the composition at the back. The position of the camera lens on the left is great – really contributes to the dynamics – and the smile is an excellent capture.

Edit: cropping the chin is generally something to be wary of, the chin defines the face and is an important element in creating a mental image of someone – less so the top of the head which can often be cropped to great effect… why this is so is an absolute mystery to me :) – however in this case I think the crop really adds to the tight composition, and there’s enough character and movement in the features for me to compensate the loss of the chin.

Great happy image..
Does she have a beard? where is her chin..
Whiten the teeth the eyes and the finger nail tip (on the trigger finger) to match the other fingers..

Ask her if she is getting enough calcium in her diet (marks on the middle of nail and no half moon's) and What she is doing on saturday?? its for a friend of mine.... ;)

Great work, dearest friend ;) !

I agree with cropping the earring, it's distracting. I think the chin is cropped because the model was wearing a shawl up to her chin.... so the chin would not be seen anyway!

By the way, she is getting enough calcium... haha

I like the spontaneous smile! This is a good capture. I would increase the contrast in the medium grey areas, with levels or curves. Nice photo!

Nice photo, very near to be perfect but I am agree with some of the comments above. The fact that the chin do not appear in the pic do not give all the feeling that it must have.- anyway the grey zones are really good, the DOF too and the model is pretty, maybe sharp the teeths a litle bit could be also good.

Keep shooting.
